We’ve got some amazing news to share—Canopy Community has been shortlisted as a finalist in not just one, but two categories at the SME National Business Awards 2025: the Positive Impact Award and Best Enterprising Business!

This recognition is more than a pat on the back—it’s a powerful moment of validation for everything we’ve been building together over the past year. From our growing global network of startup founders in London, Lisbon, Boston, Bangalore, and Singapore, to our Demo Nights, founder coaching, and virtual MVP incubation programs, this moment shines a light on the ripple effect we’re creating across startup ecosystems.

We owe a great debt of thanks to the PRR Grant that we received this year that has catalysed us into action and helped us to grow things to the next level.

The Positive Impact Award nods to our mission: helping first-time founders turn napkin-sketch ideas into investable startups through honest feedback, shared learning, and connection. It’s recognition of the hundreds of coaching sessions, the long nights preparing for pitch events, and the shared belief that founders thrive best in community.

Being shortlisted for Best Enterprising Business tells the story of our entrepreneurial spirit—how we’ve taken risks, moved fast, and grown with purpose. Whether it’s launching the Canopy Membership, piloting new founder content, or expanding to new cities, we’ve operated with ambition and resilience at every turn.

And now, the celebrations begin.

We’ll be joining other incredible businesses at the QEII Centre in Westminster on Friday, 7th November 2025, for the awards gala. It’s a chance to come together, reflect, and toast to what’s been an extraordinary year for the Canopy tribe.
